    On Friday, all the missionaries (all 156 of them!) from our mission gathered in Daejeon for the Mission Christmas Party!  Just like last year, we started off with a white elephant exchange.  And just like last year, I picked a great present, and just like last year it was stolen away from me.  (more…)

  3. All the little things

Lately, I’ve been wondering if when my mission is over if I’ll keep talking about miracles all the time and noticing all the small inexplicable instances that happen, or if I’ll just jump back into the storm of life and leave that behind.   4. The Final Stretch

    Not to brag, but I am SO GOOD at making kimchi! Last week our investigator was going to make all of her family’s year supply of kimchi by herself. We offered to help because a) that’s too much work for just one person b) we knew we’d get to teach her afterwards and c) my companion has never made kimchi. Remember, she’s Korean! (more…)
